The Full Moon in Sagittarius will take place on Monday, June 17th at approximately 4:30 AM EDT. This Full Moon marks the final Full Moon of Spring, and also occurs just days prior to the Summer Solstice. With this transition of seasons fast-approaching, and also with the ruling planet of Sagittarius, Jupiter, conjuncting the Moon in this fiery Sag (and Jupiter also being in retrograde), this Full Moon is, even more so than most, asking us to take a step back, appreciate all that has manifested in our experience over this Spring season, and express gratitude with an open and optimistic heart!
Focusing on Freedom
This Full Moon also really speaks to freedom – in all aspects of life! Of all the signs in the zodiac, Sagittarius is not one to be tied down, to be told what to do or how to do it – this fiery sign craves exploration, adventure, and knowledge – all through personal experience, of course! This Full Moon is definitely a time for reflection and appreciation, as all Full Moons are, but it is also one to really focus on a cultivation of greater freedom and expansion, not settling for what is not in alignment with who you truly are. This is an opportunity to really evaluate all that you have learned and experienced, especially during this Spring season, take the time you need to integrate it, and then realize how you are able to use all you have recently learned toward creating greater expansion and freedom along your path, particularly as we move into the second part of this year.
It may be helpful to look back at journal entries, photos, and projects from the last few months, appreciating all of your hard work, as well as all of the growth and momentum forward along your journey, and then also reflect to recognize all you have learned along the way, so that you may take these lessons with you as you move into what lies ahead. Continue to let go of all that is not serving you, and allow yourself to be true to what feels right for you, remembering that we all have our own unique path and work, and also that it’s okay to try new things and change your mind, just ask any Sag you know! 😉
Stay true to how you feel, giving yourself space and time to rest if you feel that’s what you need, or take this as motivation to add some more excitement and adventure into your daily life if you feel you’ve gotten stuck in a rut or have been losing momentum! Sometimes we just have to get out of our comfort zone or routine from time to time to spark some creativity and bring new life into what we are cultivating. Moving away from your daily routine from time to time may also give you the space you need for greater reflection and awareness of what’s been going on in your day-to-day life, and likely will help you feel recharged and recentered, ready to do what it takes to help you move toward your dreams in an even bigger way!
Wishing you abundant Full Moon blessings and a happy Summer Solstice soon to be!
